“Terrazzo” originated in the 15th century in Venice as an attractive way to use leftover pieces of marble, granite and quartz, which were mixed with cement to form a single compound, similar to an irregular mosaic in appearance. Widely used both for its durability and because it could be used to create patterns. However, while the original terrazzo was composed of a mix of little fragments only scattered in the cement, the TERRAZZO Series we present you here today is a mix of slivers of larger sizes, less dense and with more surprising graphics. TERRAZZO in Maxi and Mini allows for a variety of applications and interesting colour combinations, making it an extremely versatile, eye-catching collection. Suitable for both residential and Commercial settings, it blends attractively with both modern and traditional styles, bringing a unique touch to both.
